I don’t usually like to talk about site updates in my blog, but I really want to mention all the work I’ve done on the smilies page these last couple days. I completely remade the preview images for all the sets, and I also added five new sets. One of the sets is pumpkin-themed for Halloween, and the other four are color variations of my sets of round smilies with bows. I’ve been having a lot of fun making smiley sets lately, so if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them!
I’m pretty excited about Halloween. Even though I thought last year would definitely be my last year of trick-or-treating, I decided to go out in my neighborhood with Jimmy this year. 
I’m going to dress up as a black cat, and he is going to be a warlock. The two costumes kind of go together, if you think about how a warlock is a male witch, and witches have black cats. 
I still need to go out to buy a headband with cat ears on it, and then I am going to wear all black, paint my face, and I may or may not come up with a tail somehow. We shall see. I also plan to cut some ribbon and wear it around my neck as a cat collar. I’ll probably post pictures sometime after Halloween.
At my temple, teachers are forbidden to talk about Halloween in their classrooms, since whoever comes up with the rules wants the focus to be on Jewish education, and therefore Jewish holidays. I suppose that makes sense, since Halloween is not a Jewish holiday.
Personally though, I think it’s a silly rule. Obviously it makes sense that a teacher should not bring up the holiday in class, since that would just be weird. However, what about when a student brings it up? The rule does loosely extend to students as well. What is the teacher supposed to do… tell them to stop talking about it? Like that’s going to keep the student from talking about Halloween if he wants to.
I work as an assistant teacher at my temple on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays. At work this past Tuesday, one of the students somehow brought up the topic of Halloween. Not only did the teacher not change the subject to follow the rule, but he actually ended up having a discussion with the class for like twenty minutes about Halloween. Ironically, he even mentioned how at the Jewish school he used to attend, no one was allowed to bring up the topic of Halloween, for the very same reason! 
By the way, it was Broken Fall’s first birthday this past Monday. Even though I promised to have a contest of some sort to celebrate, I was too busy to actually do anything. I still feel like hosting a contest at some point, so I am going to start planning a holiday competition for December. I’m excited already!

I think I’m just going trick or treating with friends, I might dress up 80′sish, but I’m not sure! It’s homecoming at my school this weekend, but not many people go.
At school, there was 4 guys dressed up as Teletubbies so they were in the spirit of Halloween!
I have confirmation this Sunday, but we’re probably going to talk about Halloween. At least my friends are? You go to a Reform temple right?

Most of the freshman and seniors go to homecoming and people with dates go. But most of my friends aren’t going this year. Prom is supposed to the most fun dance at my school. I kind of wish the homecoming dance was a bigger deal, but oh well.

I really did love the movie. And actually, I’ve never been into those type of movies either, that’s why I thought I was going to be disappointed by the MJ film, but I wasn’t. Cause they made it in such a way that it seemed like it had a plot, and it was well put together and it wasn’t just made up of random segments of him rehearsing. There were all types of different scenes that really made the movie mesh well together. It was awesome.
I’m glad that I could give you a little glimpse of it.
But I’d still encourage you to go see it haha.

I agree with you. That does seem like quite the silly rule. I really doubt that a teacher is going to be able to get a student to stop talking about Halloween. If the kid wants to talk about it, then he/she WILL no matter what. Unless you like tape their mouth shut.

Glee is basically about a bunch of ‘outcasts’ in high school that are a part of the school choir (often referred to as ‘Glee’ in America). The cheerleading team sees them as a threat and try to bring it down. Pretty cliche, but the singing keeps on wanting to watch more.
Oh, and no, Glee is just set in the modern day. Sorry that I confused you there ;P the musical Grease is set in the 50′s though haha.
the Big Bang Theory is a sitcom about a group of ‘nerds’ and their neighbour Penny who is the complete opposite to them, so she’s pretty, approachable, etc. Quite funny in my opinion, I recommend watching it

Geography is pretty dull. It was compulsory for a few years in high school. I dropped it as soon as I had the chance.
I am not good at history and remembering dates and understanding what happened. I’m just not very good at remembering the who/what/when/where/why/how.
Haha yes, this most likely was the layout I was working on. I didn’t have any others I was working on besides the new EyeThief one.
In high school we didn’t get much time off for holidays. It was about one and a half months – nothing much compared to what I have.
I don’t have exams, nope. To be honest I don’t think my course has exams at all.
Oh, our school didn’t do that! We had yearly exams and that was the end of school. The external exams are for uni admission and the school doesn’t actually see our results. That’s why afterwards they always ask us how we went. Because part of the external assessment is marks from school – the school submits our marks to them before we take the external exam. I hope that made sense.
Yeah, I am usually quite reserved and I just want to be alone. Or sometimes I don’t like getting attention and I wish just one person would ask me what was up and talk to me about it – because it sucks to be ignored when you’re feeling shit too.

Ah – the other day I was up pretty late.
Oh, I’m getting there. It’s just that my group isn’t all that organised so I’m struggling, thinking what the hell I’m going to do when I have to finalise stuff. I just had to have the publishing jobs didn’t I?

At our school you have to attend the classes, but it won’t go into your final average grade. But you have to have at least 1 point in each of the 4 semester
So last semester I decided just not to go to gym class, but then I remembered that I have to have that stupid 1 point and went to gym class and got 5 points at the end 
Hehe, I usually fall for both – actor and character. Or at least most of the time.
You really should give True Blood a try – it’s awesome. At least in my opinion
