Here you may apply for a review of your site. I will provide my honest opinion about your website as well as constructive criticism to help you improve. Since the purpose of these reviews is to help you improve, I will not sugarcoat your review.

I will review your site according to the following criteria:

  1. Site Name: I will share my opinion about your site name and URL.
  2. Layout: I will discuss my opinion of your layout. Please note that I will skip this and the following two sections if you are using a premade layout.
  3. Cross-Browser Compatibility: I will check that your site appears correctly and remains accessible and usable in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Google Chrome, and Opera, several commonly-used browsers.
  4. Coding: I will check to see if your code is valid using the W3 validator. Although valid coding is not necessary and I do not necessarily expect it, it can be a factor when it comes to cross-browser compatibility, and hence usability. If your code is invalid, I may provide suggestions as to how to correct your main errors, but please do not expect me to validate your website for you.
  5. Content: In this section I will review every page of your website. I will provide my opinion of each page and point out any errors and anything I believe you could improve. I may gloss over some pages that I believe are okay.
  6. Overall Impression: Finally, I will discuss my overall impression of your site. I will evaluate its overall organization and originality, as well as provide an overall comment about your site.

At the end of your review, you will receive a rating out of five. This is meant to me a rough indication of the quality of your website, and should be taken rather lightly. It is the content of the review to which you should pay the most attention.

Your rating will be in the form of chocolate doughnuts, as seen below. Sometimes, half doughnuts will be given.
