How to Gain Visitors to Your Site
So you’ve been working on your site for a while, you have lots of awesome content, or maybe even just an interesting blog, but no one comes to your site, except for maybe a few friends and affiliates. It’s time to start attracting visitors to your site!
Comment
The easiest way to do this that not only gains visitors but also forges friendships is to comment, comment, comment! Try to comment on a large, yet manageable, amount of blogs each day. A good goal for this would be to comment on at least thirty blogs. This might seem like a hugely unreasonable number, but in retrospect it’s not that difficult. All you have to do is visit your affiliates’ sites, their affiliates, and so on, trying to comment on every site you visit. However, if you cannot leave a meaningful comment, don’t comment at all. Besides just visiting affiliates of affiliates, it is also beneficial to visit the sites of people who have commented on the same blog as you, since this implies that they are likely to return comments, and hence will be more likely to visit your site.
Update
Just commenting on a lot of blogs will rack up your unique hits count for that day, but it will not guarantee that you will attract visitors who will return each day without the prompt of being commented. For this, it is important to have interesting, useful, and original content that keeps your visitors coming back for more. Also, you should try to add new content or a new blog almost every day, so that visitors will return to your site due to interest in what new thing you have accomplished today.
Gaining loyal visitors to your site takes a lot of time and effort, but if you follow these two simple rules of commenting and updating, in the end, your site will develop quite a following!
